Men: Strong & Distinguished is more than a great portrait session. It’s an opportunity to tell your story and create portraits that reflect the man you are today.

Your portrait experience will be relaxed, enjoyable, and completely customized to YOU. Whether your style is polished and professional, casual and comfortable, rugged and outdoorsy—or a little of everything—we’ll create portraits that feel authentic to you.

Your portrait experience includes:

• A pre-session consultation where we’ll talk about you, your style, your interests, and what you would like your portraits to say about you.

• Personalized session planning. We’ll review wardrobe, locations or backgrounds, posing, and meaningful items that can help tell your story. Bring the suit—but also consider the leather jacket, golf clubs, guitar, motorcycle, favorite hat, tools of your trade, or anything else that represents a part of your life.

• A relaxed, fully guided portrait session. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera—that’s my job. We’ll keep things comfortable, have some laughs, enjoy a favorite beverage or snack, and create a variety of portraits along the way.

• The opportunity to see what we're creating as we go. We can make adjustments throughout the session so your portraits look and feel like you.

• Your portrait selection experience. We’ll review your images together and you'll choose your favorites and the portrait collection that's right for you. We’ll also select the portrait that will represent you in the Men: Strong & Distinguished Gallery.

• A feature in the Men: Strong & Distinguished Collection. Your portrait will be accompanied by a glimpse into your story—your experiences, accomplishments, interests, or thoughts on what being strong and distinguished means to you.

• A social media feature from MJLStudios celebrating you, your story, and your business or profession when appropriate.

AND, the experience doesn't end with your portrait session.

You’ll be invited to join the other men of Men: Strong & Distinguished for our Gallery & Game Night—an evening featuring the portraits from the project, good conversation, a little friendly competition, and the opportunity to celebrate the stories and men behind the portraits.

It starts with a conversation.

Before your session, we’ll have a pre-session consultation to plan an experience that feels like you. We’ll talk about wardrobe, style, interests, profession, hobbies, locations, props and the different ways you might want to use your portraits.

Not sure what you want? That’s perfectly fine. Part of the experience is helping you discover the possibilities.

On portrait day, just show up. I’ll guide you through the rest.

Your session will be relaxed, comfortable and fully guided. We’ll take our time, enjoy some conversation and refreshments, and create a variety of portraits—from a strong classic headshot and polished business portraits to more casual and personally styled images.

This is where we can have some fun.

Maybe you’re an executive who also loves motorcycles. A craftsman who built his business with his own hands. A musician, golfer, chef, collector, outdoorsman or entrepreneur. Maybe there’s a favorite jacket, watch, guitar, set of tools—or even a giant wrench—that says something about you.

Together, we’ll create a portrait that goes beyond what you do and captures a little more of who you are.

Then we'll choose the portraits that tell your story best.

At the end of your session, we’ll sit down with a beverage and something to snack on and review your images together. You’ll choose your favorites, select the portraits included with your experience, and decide which image will represent you in the Men: Strong & Distinguished Gallery.

THE INVESTMENT

Your Men: Strong & Distinguished Portrait Experience is $1,295 and includes your complete portrait session, campaign experience, and FIVE finished portraits of your choice.
