It was a beautiful early Fall evening.  The Better A Life Gala was held at Stone Leigh Golf and Country Club.  Elizabeth and her crew did an outstanding job organizing a very enjoyable evening.    www.betteralife.org   

The DJ started the evening with Classic crooners and ended the evening with dance music.  After dinner, many attendees enjoyed steppin to the music.  Speaking of dinner, Stone Leigh provided a delicious buffet which included a capper sauced chicken and roast beef. 

The main event of the evening was learning more about the non-profit Better A Life.  There were 12 silent auction items.  And everything was sold benefiting the non-profit including the portrait (headshot) session MJLStudios donated.  I am looking forward to photographing my winning bidder.  I was able to chat with her and present her with her certificate.

This group works locally providing nutritious lunches to children who's family is food insecure allowing them to focus on studies and growing strong.  I highly recommend donating your time or cash to keep this group growing.
