Better A Life Silent Auction

Tonight I'm going to a Ball !  Well… technically a Gala.  I get to dress fancier, chat with my community AND contribute to a great cause.  One of several non-profits that I'm embracing alongside re-opening my studio this Fall ! 

Better a Life is a non-profit supporting those in our community who are food insecure.  Started by Elizabeth Ford.  Her goal is to feed local children who go hungry on a daily basis limiting their ability to focus on studies, stay healthy and to provide them with a stronger path to a successful life.     https://www.betteralife.org/

I met Elizabeth at a local Business Association luncheon.  When I heard about her cause, I immediately offered a photography session for them to include in their Silent Auction.  And, tonight is the night of the Gala and Silent Auction.  

The event is being held at the Stone Leigh Golf and Country Club, a beautiful setting in Western Loudoun County.   https://www.stoneleighgolf.com/

Elizabeth is giving a presentation this evening so I will be learning more about her vision and plans.  Stay tuned for my Gala story with photos soon.  Now - my daughter wants to do my nails so I look presentable :)
